While searching YouTube for a video on the endangered stellar sea lion, I came across an incredibly beautiful and inspiring music video: “Song for the Ocean” by Kristin Hoffman.  This talented young singer wrote this song in an effort to promote environmental awareness of one of our oceans.  I have to admit the combination of great music, inspiring lyrics, an incredible singing voice and beautiful video brought tears to my eyes. 

According to Kristin’s website,  her goal for the project is “to get a a minimum of 1 million people to join me in singing this song.  As we sing, let’s hold the vision of a healthy planet, and make a commitment to the the Earth and all it’s creatures, to be a part of positive change in whatever ways we can”.  Kristin is asking that you videotape yourself or group singing “Song for the Ocean” and upload your video to YouTube.  She is going to keep a list of all people who sing the song, and would like you to email her your names so that she can add you to the list of “million voices”.
